Call it Total Wipeout, the Leg Sweeper or Last One Standing. Whatever name you use, the objective remains brutally simple: stay on your podium while the sweeper arm tries to take you out.

Players take their positions around the inflatable and wait for the rotating arm to come towards them. Jump at the right moment and you're still in the contest. Mistime it and you could find yourself swept from your position while the remaining competitors carry on without you.

Eventually the field gets smaller, the pressure builds and one player earns the right to call themselves the Last One Standing.

There isn't much time for complicated tactics once a round gets going. Competitors have to watch the sweeper, judge its approach and react quickly enough to avoid being caught.

Successfully clearing it once doesn't mean you're safe. The arm keeps coming back, forcing players to repeat the challenge while trying to maintain their position on the inflatable podium.

That repetitive jump-and-survive mechanic is what makes the game so entertaining for spectators as well. One badly timed attempt can completely change who looks likely to win.

The Total Wipeout / Leg Sweeper equipment is very heavy and cannot be taken up steps. We effectively need to be able to drive to the setup location or have free, clear and unhindered access suitable for moving the equipment into position.

When assessing your venue, don't look only at the space where the inflatable will eventually stand. Consider the entire route from the delivery vehicle to that area, including gates, pathways, changes in level and steps.

If anything about the access concerns you, contact us before booking. We would much rather identify a potential problem beforehand and establish whether the location is suitable.

Three Hours of Total Wipeout Hire

The hire period stated for this attraction is three hours. This gives an event plenty of opportunity to run repeated games rather than relying on a single competition.

You could keep play informal and allow guests to take turns throughout the session, or divide the three hours into heats, semi-finals and a final to establish your event's overall Wipeout champion.

For schools, companies and organised activity days, teams can also keep their own scores or award points according to how far each representative progresses.
